Ittihad recently found themselves in a difficult situation as two of their key forwards, Emmanuel Okwi and Romario Williams, fled the team according to the club’s president.
Romario had joined Ittihad from USA side Miami FC, and since then he made 24 appearances, in which he scored five goals and two assists.
The 27-year-old has also been called for international duty 13 times, scoring two goals with his national team, but after the last call up, the forward didn’t return back to Egypt.
Therefore, he decided to end his time in Alexandria and travel to Kuwait to sign for giants Qadsia, who are coached by ex Ismaily manager Kheïreddine Madoui.
Qadsia have finished their 2020/21 Kuwait STC Premier League in second place with 36 points from 18 games, the new transfer is aimed to help the team reclaim the lost title.
