Abdelhamid Dabeiba, Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, visited the Tripoli vaccination centre to supervise the work of medical professionals and receive updates on the country’s vaccination campaign.

The tour also featured Dr Ali Al-Zanati, Minister of Health, Adel Juma, Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, and Dr Badr Al-Din Al-Najjar, Director of the National Centre for Disease Control.

The Head of Government inspected the compound’s corridors, where he met with a number of medical and medical auxiliary staff and inquired about the progress of the compound’s vaccination operations, the extent to which citizens were receiving the vaccine, and their efforts under the current circumstances.

The Prime Minister emphasized the significance of people being immunized against the new Covid-19 Delta strain through vaccination in order to establish community immunity, which, according to the Government Information Office, helps to the full eradication of Covid-19.
