The row between Pa Modou Bojang and Presidential adviser Dodou Sano is blowing out of proportion. Bojang went live on Facebook yesterday, accusing Sano of trying to set him up by using a lady to lie against him to file a false police report against him. According to Bojang, Mr. Sano, has contacted the lady that he (Sano) had exposed himself to, pleading with her to aid him in making up a fake story that it was (he) Pa Modou Bojang, who sent thieves to her home to steal her phone containing Sano’s nude video.

Little did Dodou Sano knew that the lady has been passing information to Mr. Bojang.  His phone conversation with the lady, landed in the hands of Pa Modou Bojang. It was broadcast on his Mengtekering online tv.

Dodou Sano, could be heard asking the lady to join him to the police because he was planning to file a criminal complaint against Mr. Bojang. Sano has accused Pa Modou of trying to tarnish his image, a charge Bojang denied.

The lady whose identification is yet to be unveiled told Dodou Sano that she was sick and wouldn’t be able to show up at the police. She spent couple meetings on the phone with Dodou Sano.

Dodou Sano sounded confused and worried while talking the lady.

Meanwhile, Pa Modou Bojang, is threatening to sue Dodou Sano for abuse of office. He argues that Sano’s conduct was not only reprehensible, but contemptuous to the seal of the Presidency.  He branded Mr. Sano as a criminal, who should be fired from his post. He has called on President Barrow to distance himself from Dodou Sano.

Pa Modou Bojang has been bragging online that if he wants there wouldn’t be any elections in The Gambia.

“If I want there wouldn’t be any elections in this country. Some of them wouldn’t take part in the elections. I have a treasure of information in my possession. In fact, there is this lady, who has been threatened with death because of the information she had against some of them. I advised her to report the matter to the Human Rights Commission. Her case has been reported to the commission. If anything happens to her, they would be responsible,” Bojang stated.
